Account Questions:
Can I have more than 1 account?
We allow one account per individual/email address/payment processor email adress. There may be more than one account per household, however each person registering an account must have a separate computer, IP address, email address and payment processor account to participate in our program.
How can I log into my account?
Log in at http://www.tame-the-net.com/account/login.php. You must use the www or you might be logged out after a certain period of time.
How can I cancel my account?
To delete your account, send an email to admin@tame-the-net.com with terminate account as subject, or open a support ticket from your members area with terminate account as the subject. WARNING, once your account is deleted it cannot be undone.
How can I cancel receiving your newsletters?
Your membership in our program allows tame-the-net.com to send you email messages and/or advertisements. You may not cancel receiving email messages or advertisements from tame-the-net.com without terminating your membership in our program and forfeiting any and all earnings and/or credits. To delete your account, send an email to admin@tame-the-net.com with terminate account as subject, or open a support ticket from your members area with terminate account as the subject.
How can I change my personal information?
Log in to your account and click the "Preferences" link. You will be able to edit any of your information except your email address and member ID.
Why do you ask for my address?
The physical address where you live is not important, what must be filled out correctly is your city, state/province, country and zip code, as we will be implementing a more targeted advertising system in the near future.
I live outside the US, can I join?
Yes, we welcome all international members, except for the following countries: Angola, Burma, Cote d'Ivoire, Cuba, Iran, Iraq, Liberia, Libya, North Korea, Sierra Leone, Sudan, Syria, Western Balkans (Bosnia & Herzegovina, Albania, Macedonia, Serbia (including Kosovo) and Zimbabwe.
What types of memberships do you offer?
There are two(2) types of memberships, FREE, and VIP, see the TOS and home page for complete description of these member types.
Earnings Questions:
How do I fund my WALLET?
You must first fund your "WALLET", with at least $10, and less than $9,000 in order to purchase adpacks. To fund your "WALLET" you would click "My Wallet" in your members area, on the next screen, under "Fund Wallet" you would put the dollar($) amount you want to fund your account with, then below that under "Select Funding Method:" you would choose the payment processor you want to fund your account with, then click the payment processor you want to fund your account with, and it will direct you to the appropriate processor to finish the transaction.
How to purchase adpacks?
After you have funded your "WALLET", to purchase adpacks you would choose "Deposit" from your members area. You would select the plan, and enter the dollar($) amount you wish to purchase. You receive 1 credit per dollar($) spent.
How many sites must I view to qualify for the Revenue Share Program?
Only VIP members are eligible for the Revenue Sharing Program. To qualify for revenue sharing, a VIP member must view at least 24 sites and have an active site in rotation.
How are rebates calculated?
Sometime after midnight EST, Tame-the-net.com totals all on-site sales and all off-site revenue, then we divide that total in half (50%). Then we total all eligible ad packages, (see previous question), Then we divide total revenue/eligible ad packages to get that days rebate. Example: 50,000 in on-site sales, 10,000 off-site revenue, 500,000 in eligible ad packages, would be 50,000 + 10,000=60,000 divided by 2 = 30,000 / 500,000 = total rebate of 6% for that day.
What is off-site revenue?
Off-site revenue is any revenue generated by tame-the-beast.com, any program advertised on tame-the-beast.com, revenue or commissions generated by any site promoted by tame-the-net.com. This revenue is calculated for the whole month, then distributed equally the following month. The reason for this is some programs pays by check up to 60 days later or to other online or offline payment processors, and we need the time to move the money to the either Alertpay or STP.
When can I request a payment?
You may request payment after you have earned the minimum payout. Currently it is $10, and must be withdrawn to the same processor you purchased adpackages with, free members can only withdraw to Alertpay.
How to request a payment?
You must transfer the cash from your cash balance to your wallet in order to request a payment. To transfer from your cash balance to your wallet, click "transfer cash balance" from your members area, the choose the Payment processor, and the dollar($) amount you want to transfer, once the money is in your "wallet", then choose "request cashout", then enter the processor and amount, then click "request cashout".
When am I paid?
Payments are made for all cashouts request from the previous month, starting on the 1st of the month, and are paid in the order they are requested, all cashout requests will be paid by the 15th of the month.
How am I paid?
Payments are made via Alertpay and Solid Trust Pay.
May I purchase adpackages with my account balance?
Yes, you can use your account balance to purchase adpackages anytime you have more than $10 in your account, just transfer the account balance to your "wallet", then purchase your adpackages.
Referral Questions
How can I refer other members?
You may place a link with your referral url to tame-the-net.com on your website. You may add your referral url to your email signature. You can give out flyers or advertise in any way you wish except for Spamming or deceptive means as outlined in the TOS.
What is my referral link?
Your personal referral link can be found in your members area, under "current member information".
What can I earn through referrals?
Free members earn 5% on direct referrals only, but only if you have viewed at least 24 sites the previous day, and have an active site in rotation.
VIP members earn 10% on direct referrals, and 5% on 2nd level referrals, but only if you have viewed at least 24 sites the previous day and have an active site in rotation.
What is an active site in rotation?
An active site in rotation, is one that has been approved by admin, and is currently not paused by the member. It does not have to have received hits or have credits allocated to it, to be considered active.
What kind of sites can we advertise?
Each site that you promote on TAME-THE-NET's web site must comply with the following rules:
1. Web sites advertised must not have any pop-up windows, pop-in windows, downloads, redirects, Trojans or malicious code.
2. Web sites advertised must not be broken, under-construction, or slow-loading.
3. Web sites advertised must not contain the following themes: pornography, matchmaking, mail-order brides, religion, politics, Gothic, Wicca, Satanism, HYIP, gambling related and must not contain violent or inappropriate content. TAME-THE-NET reserves the right to determine unacceptable themes.
4. We do not allow you to promote your TAME-THE-NET.com referral page within the TAME-THE-NET rotator.
5. We do not allow Rotators or URL Trackers of any kind.
6. We will accept sites in any language, but your largest target market is English.
The only exception to this rule is admin support sites, most of those sites will be ptp, and may contain 1 popup, so don't report those as they are authorized.
